Oct 3 sat - Opening Day of The Desert Bar
If you’ve never been to the desert bar.. You Gotta Go!
It's a desert experience about 5 miles off the main road that can be driven on by most regular vehicles slowly.
The whole complex runs on solar power, so there is electricity out in the middle of this Desert Oasis. The power is run through inverters and operates electricity for live music, lights & refrigeration. It is definitely a unique experience… don’t go for the food (although, the food downstairs is much better than on the main level), lots of desert art, & one of a kind structures. If you go, be sure to walk around & see what this guy has created out in the middle of nowhere.
The bar is closed during the week, so be sure to only plan on a Saturday or Sunday visit. The are 2 ways to get there… The “easy way” - Get off AZ 95 on Cienega Springs Rd dirt road, and the “offroader’s way”.
They have live music October through
March, depending on the weather.
Music is on Saturdays and Sundays
from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Bring your camera (or smart phone)… This place is one of a kind!
Check out their website for more info before going, if you’ve never been before
